Reminder - PTCO 990 Taxes Due Nov 15th

Just a quick reminder to our PTCO Treasurers (and presidents):

If you have 50,000 or less in revenue, please watch this short video to see how quick it is to file. But you must have your user name and password to do so. Please use SCHOOL address for everything. I use the President's name as the Principal officer of the organization. For filers using the 990-EZ ($50,001 - 200,000 in revenue) use your school address and your phone number or if you use the school number please request permission.  Video Link (click on image below or copy and paste this link): https://www.dropbox.com/s/qij74w32m4fpkmc/990-N%20Postcard%20Filing%20online%20.mov?dl=0

NOTE: For over $200,000 in revenue please use a tax consultant to file.

It is easiest at this time while you are filing your 990s to file your annual charitable statement with the COLORADO Secretary of State which is due the same date as the 990. This is not an IRS filing. See instructions at: https://www.sos.state.co.us/pubs/charities/instructions/charity/renew.html. Please do NOT forget to quickly email documents@ccparentscouncil.org the copy of the 990 filing and the annual charitable statement that you file with **correct file naming** so that Shari, a.k.a. "Documents Review", can easily log them for you.

Also, here is the link to file online, from our recent discussion on the Elementary PTCO Facebook Forum. e-File for Charities and Non Profits | Internal Revenue Service Electronic filing for charities and nonprofits is…https://www.irs.gov/e-file-providers/e-file-for-charities-and-non-profits

Happy Filing!
