Funding for Cherry Creek Schools – Make Your Voice Heard

As shared by the district leadership team, please see details below on the impact of proposed federal and state funding changes

There is a proposed funding cut to K-12 education and the Cherry Creek School District. We know there have been questions about school funding, how we might be impacted, and how you can take action.

This video with Superintendent Chris Smith and Chief Financial and Operating Officer Scott Smith explains more about how these cuts to K-12 education funding would dramatically impact our students and community. Please take the time to watch the video and continue to make your voice heard.

Mission

The purpose of Cherry Creek Parents' Council is to promote the exchange of ideas among parent representatives of all schools in Cherry Creek and to serve as a vehicle of communication within the District for parents, teachers, administrators, the Board of Education and the community.

Parents’ Council serves as a valuable resource to our PTO/ PTCO* communities. The schools in our district are greatly enriched by the programs that are provided by your PTO/PTCO.

Who We Are

Our Board consists of volunteers of parents and community members.  At our meetings, you will hear from our Superintendent of Schools, our School Board members and guest speakers on topics of interest to our PTO/PTCO communities.

Cherry Creek Parents’ Council is a separate entity from Cherry Creek School District. We partner with Cherry Creek School District and our goal is to be a resource for PTCOs within the district, and to help school PTCOs run their non-profit organizations as effectively and smoothly as possible.
